Our Chapters

The Bihar Chapter holds the distinction of being the oldest and first recognized chapter of the SLIET Alumni Association. It was established under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Santosh Kumar Chaurasia, who played a pivotal role in fulfilling all chapter requirements. While Mr. Santosh is currently contributing to the development of the Lucknow Chapter, he continues to remain an integral part of the Bihar Chapter as its founding figure. The chapter is now actively led by Mr. Ashwani Kumar, the current President, continuing the legacy of strong alumni engagement and support in the Bihar region.

The Chandigarh Chapter is one of the most active and growing chapters of the SLIET Alumni Association, officially recognized by the Dean (Alumni & Industrial Relations) during the Alumni Meet 2024 held on 8–9 February 2025. While the SLIET Alumni Association was registered in 2017, the Chandigarh Chapter gained formal recognition in 2024. Mr. Gaurav Chhatwal was appointed as the first President, with Mr. Sangeet Kohli serving as the Vice President, marking the beginning of a new era of connection, collaboration, and contribution among alumni in the Chandigarh region.

The Lucknow chapter, the newest addition to our SLIET Alumni Association, gained recognition on 9th February 2025 under the esteemed guidance of Dean AIR, Dr. R.K. Mishra Sir, during the Alumni Meet. After fulfilling the criteria of registering a minimum of 20 members, the chapter was successfully registered. Mr. Santosh Kumar Chaurasia is working as the first President of the chapter, with Dr. Divya Mishra serving as Vice President.

The Maharashtra Chapter, one of the newest additions to the SLIET Alumni Association, was officially recognized on 9th February 2025 during the Alumni Meet, under the esteemed guidance of Dean AIR, Dr. R.K. Mishra. Upon fulfilling the requirement of registering a minimum of 20 members, the chapter was successfully established. Mr. Sarabjit Singh Puri was appointed as the first President of the chapter, and Mr. Viney Mehta currently serves as its President.

The NCR Chapter, one of the newest additions to the SLIET Alumni Association, was officially recognized on 9th February 2025 during the Alumni Meet, under the esteemed guidance of Dean AIR, Dr. R.K. Mishra. After fulfilling the requirement of registering a minimum of 20 members, the chapter was successfully established. Mr. Nipun Kapila was appointed as the first President of the chapter and continues to serve as its current President.
